Café con Leche is a reversible cowl knit in Lion Brand’s new cotton & merino wool yarn, Cottino. Pick your two favorite shades and have fun seeing the pattern emerge, round by round. Yes, you can have the look of complicated brioche stitch without the headache!

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

NEEDLES: US 5 (3.75 mm) 16” circular knitting needles (or size to obtain gauge)
YARN: DK Weight - 425 yds (389 m)
Suggested Yarn: Lion Brand Cottino - 55% Cotton, 45% Merino Wool; 296 yds (271 m) / 100g (2 skeins).
Colors used in sample:
(A) Onyx 614-153U and (B) Limestone 614-122AL
NOTIONS: Stitch marker, darning needle, scissors & wool wash

GAUGE: 4” x 4” / 10 cm x 10 cm
4” x 4” / 10 cm x 10 cm: 16.5 sts x 36 rounds in fisherman’s rib stitch AFTER wet blocking
NOTE: In Fisherman’s Rib, 36 rounds are counted as 18 “V” (knit) stitches.
