When my 6 year old son, Calvin, asked me to knit him a “green and white striped sweater,” I knew just the yarn to purchase. I picked up four skeins of lovely Morehouse Farm 2 ply yarn at Vogue Knitting Live this past January and began designing a boxy fit sweater that he could throw on top of a base layer when the weather inevitably turned cold. He loves his new sweater and I hope the little ones in your life do as well!

Fit: This raglan pullover features an oversized fit with 4-6” of positive ease. Schematic and full chart with all measurements is provided so that you may choose the size that most closely fits the child.

Video Tutorials: Two videos are embedded into the pattern -- one showing the cable cast on and the other showing how to work jogless stripes.

NEEDLES:

Size 4 (3.5 mm) 16” & 20 - 32” circular knitting needles
Size 5 (3.75 mm) 16” & 20 - 32” circular knitting needles


GAUGE:

4 in x 4 in / 10 cm x 10 cm; 22 sts x 32 rows on larger needles in stockinette stitch, after wet blocking.
